This morning in our youth session we looked at our mission to take God’s love and hope to people in our families, friendship groups, community, and places of need and how we can we help them to feel loved and valued whoever they are because Jesus thinks they’re awesome! ❤ ‪#‎church‬ ‪#‎youth‬ ‪#‎God‬ ‪#‎Jesus‬ ‪#‎wwjd‬ ‪#‎hearts‬ ‪#‎love‬ ‪#‎hope‬ ‪#‎makeadifference‬ ‪#‎mission‬ ‪#‎sharethelove

Our First Youth Baptism!

Today we had the huge privilege of Baptising Georgia, we had our own little service in our sunday youth group starting with breakfast followed by worship songs, prayers, celebration time, the baptism and then communion and present giving with the rest of the Church.

Fab day! All praise to God and the difference He makes to our lives ❤

Film making – Mental Health Awareness

Mid May we’re going to be making a Mental Health awareness video, to support those suffering and help people to understand more so we can be more loving, caring and helpful  in this important and increasingly common issue.

If you’d like to be part of it watch this space! 🙂

We’ll also be doing other things for causes that are important to our young people such as homelessness.

The Mission Begins…

unnamed (1)

This morning we started with a blank sheet of paper and prayed listened and wrote down issues and causes that break both our heart and God’s heart. We then discussed how we might be able to make a difference to those things bringing love hope and Jesus.

With a little help from tea, hot chocolate and creme eggs we have a plan!

Our Friday Night Youth group are also doing the same – we’re on a double mission at the moment!

Feel free to join in with either group if you would like to make a difference too.

‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:37-38

Spring Harvest!

We had an awesome time at Spring Harvest with brilliant worship, challenging and inspiring teaching, lots of fun activities and quality time with each other and God. We pray that we will be Game Changers – people empowered and passionate to change the world for the better with the hands, feet and heart of Jesus ❤
