Our Next weekend away date will be Friday 7th – Sunday 9th October on the theme Life and Faith Survival! We know life can be tough, decisions, disasters, mistakes, illness, sadness, disappointments , grief, change, challenges, fears and the future. How do we prepare, take on and share our stories of life and faith well? Bear Grylls has some basic tips on survival and so do we 🙂 And we may use some of his story of faith during the weekend.
Through sports, games, creative activities, baking, discussion, videos, talks, questions, sharing stories, prayer, food and chill time, we’ll explore this theme and also just have some quality time together 🙂
The cost is £40 and includes food, the accommodation is ensuite rooms and we have all to ourselves the bedrooms, sports hall, fields, trampoline, sports equipment and chill spaces.
If you have any issues with the cost please let us know because it’s much more important that you’re able to join us if you want to 🙂 We also can provide lifts if you let us know in advance.

Happy Easter from Take Over Church, where our young people design and lead our service, this time it was our awesome easter Sunday Celebration. So proud of them as we found new and fresh ways to be reminded of Jesus’ love, sacrifice, hope and freedom.
Please check out the message by one of our young people Sophie Carter, through a Spoken Word: Easter Spoken Word
Along with Prayer – o – planes led by Katie, our awesome band of young people, easter egg hunt and young people helping to lead communion. It was a fab service all round, thank you to everyone who joined us, celebrated and supported and encouraged our young people – They are awesome! What a way to spend easter Sunday!

Tonight our awesome FNYers raised £35.40 for Sport Relief, as we began with a video story of a young homeless boy in need we remembered and prayed for those we would be raising money for through games, challenges, milkshakes and cakes. Thank you so much for your generous hearts, I’m so proud of you guys ^_^ ❤
We also collected ideas of causes that matter to us for more ways we can help those in need locally and in our world.
John 15:12 “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.”
WHAT A NIGHT! Heaven is throwing a party as we welcome 2 new Christians into our family tonight and so many wanting a fresh filling and knowing God’s love for them.
As we explored the journey Jesus took to the cross as easter, we see the lengths he went to from heartache, to rejection, betrayal, fear, pain, suffering and loneliness just because He loves us.
Thank you so much to our youth team, to the young people who came – you were awesome, we missed those of you who couldn’t make it and send out love, and to our amazing God, thank you for doing more than we can ask or imagine.
Bring on the next one!
“Jesus said, Come to me all who are weary and carry heavy burdens and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28
If you’d like to join us in raising money for people all over the world who have nothing compared to us… Join us at FNY we’ll be giving any money we take on the night to sports relief… We’ll have food, games and challengers where you can win Creme eggs, and our own lets play darts comp! We’ll have our awesome Ice Cream milkshakes to buy for 50p – which will also go to Sports Relief.
For everyone who comes dressed as a sports person/sport related outfit, I’ll personally add 50p to the overall donation 🙂
Let’s have a good laugh and raise some money for some very worthy causes and people ☺️ Join us whether you’re new or regular or not been for a while. We’ll also be thinking of more things we can do for causes we personally care about beyond this evening, from mental health to homelessness to poverty to cancer – it’s about the issues that your heart beats for. So come along as we raise money for Sports Relief and look forward to see what else we can do for causes we care about. 🙂

This Sunday Ignite is back 🙂 7pm-8:15pm @ St Paul’s Church
The theme this time looks at some of the heavy burdens we carry in life; stress, doubts, diappointments, hurts, anxieties, fears, bitterness, regrets and insecurities. Easter teaches us that we are loved more than we can ever imagine, the cross proves the enormous love Jesus has for each one of us and the lengths he would go to for our sake. He offers to carry those heavy and life crushing burdens that weigh us down both day to day and forever.
Ignite is a worship space for young people and young adults to connect and explore God and faith through worship music, creative and reflective activities for all the different senses to make things practical, personal and real, there’s also videos, a short talk by Lou, real life stories and lots of pudding!
We also have gift bags which include chocolate and (pictured above) People at St Paul’s church have bought and prayed for these small wooden crosses for you to take home with you as a reminder of Jesus’ never-ending love for you.
All welcome whether you have a faith or not, you don’t have to know lots or have a certain view. It’s a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and our aim is to explore faith and Jesus together with love, respect and open hearts.
You can let us know you’re coming by messaging Lou: firstname.lastname@example.org or use my number or Facebook if you have it 🙂
At FNY tonight we’ve helped to make some mums feel loved and appreciated. Well done young peeps, they looked great!
Showing our love and appreciation to people is so important. #Sharethelove
