Next Sunday (6th September) we’re launching our new Sunday morning Youth group called Fusion. This will be for 11-14 year olds bringing together life and faith through, discussion, prayer, food, and time to chill. All welcome, whether you’re used to church or not.

Tribe will then be for ages 14-18 years and we will continue to delve into deep topics of how Jesus and faith can make a difference to our lives. All welcome πŸ™‚ We have treats and Hot chocolate, prayer, music, discussion, videos and lots of time to share and ask questions.

Both are Sunday 10am @ St Paul’s Church, Oadby. LE2 4NX

Prayer Breakfast: Right & Wrong

This Sunday we have our Youth Prayer Breakfast! πŸ™‚ We’ll have food, a chance to catch up and an a opportunity to put the world to rights as we discuss: Is there a Right & Wrong? As we look at world issues and those closer to home we can see the world is pretty messed up but we all have a choice. We can bury our heads in the sand, look after ourselves and pretend these problems don’t exist or we can go and do our very best to fight for justice and live generously and Jesus-like.

All welcome, new or not so new πŸ™‚ 10am – The Barnabas Centre – Hamble Road, Oadby. Leicester. LE2 4NX

IGNITE is a place for young people and young adults to connect with God wherever they’re at in their life and faith.

This time we’re looking at the theme of BE REAL, in a culture where we’re often told to be anything but ourselves, surrounded by people promoting the highlight reel of their lives as an expectation for us all to live up to, what does it look like to be real? We’re going to look at how we can be real and why we should be πŸ™‚

There will be a relaxed atmosphere with worship, talk, videos, space to reflect and pudding!

It’s free, all welcome πŸ™‚ If you can, give up the heads up that you’re coming so we can buy plenty of pudding, if you’re last minute do come along too πŸ™‚

What’s LOVE got to do with it?

In the Autumn, in our Sunday morning Youth group, Tribe, we’ll be kicking off with a session on relationships and all the issues around them, this will be mainly a discussion based session where we can ask questions (no question is off limits!) and focus on what is most important for you, your relationships and your faith right now.

So come along, all welcome, we’ll have some nice treats and some real conversations on what matters to you.

Sunday 6th September – 10am -11:30am – The Barnabas Centre, Hamble Road, Oadby. LE2 4NX

Holiday Club Celebration Sunday!

unnamed-56Β unnamed-58

Today we had a fab service celebrating and sharing all we’d been doing at Holiday Club this week with songs, crafts, dramas, pictures and prayers, talk and videos.

The ribbon picture above was our prayer activity and each collared ribbon represented a different prayer theme based on our theme days this week. So some purple prayers were for God’s power and working in our lives, green was for healing, red was for God’s love to be known by us and others and yellow was for forgiveness and seconds chances πŸ™‚ It was amazing to see so many people queue up to tie their prayers and bring their requests and needs to God.

It was lovely to see so many people join us for both the service and the yummy BBQ afterwards. What an awesomely special day as one big family! Bring on next year!

We’ve had some great fun this week at our Holiday Club, Mega Makers. We’ve been looking at God’s power, God’s healing and God’s love and all that Jesus can do in our lives. We’ve had songs, crafts, sports, games, stories, drama, smoke machines, bubble machines, inflatable guitars, food and drink and lots of laughs πŸ™‚

It’s been a real blessing to spend time with these awesome children this week and hopefully we’ll continue the fun this sunday morning 10am @ St Paul’s Church as we continue our story, our songs, our drama, our prayers and our wonder of God’s awesomeness and His love for us!

We also have a BBQ and games afterwards πŸ™‚ #TopWeek. So do join us πŸ™‚ All welcome, all free πŸ™‚
